Noor Jahan’s Last Episode: Shocking End Leads to Mixed Fan Reactions

The popular drama Noor Jahan is going off the air today on ARY Digital. Such a great cast-Kubra Khan, Ali Rehman Khan, Zoya Nasir, Hajra Yamin, Saba Hamid, and Noor Ul Hassan-the show caught everyone’s attention. Written by Zanjabeel Asim Shah, it has been directed by Musadik Malik. This is Six Sigma Plus production, and its forte has been the good execution of a timeless storyline.

In the final episode, Noor Jahan, who has been deserted by all her sons and daughters-in-law, comes on to make an audio apology to them. To everyone’s surprise, they forgive her and take her back with open arms, which makes for an emotional end.

The happy ending meant that fans were satisfied with the ending because they did not think it would happen. The viewers appreciated the fact that the writers did not introduce any tragic twist to make the ending more special. People said that the show reminded them of how significant dealing with gender discrimination is.

One fan commented, “Women can be each other’s worst enemies, but it’s beautiful when they choose to support each other.” Majority of viewers liked Noor Bano for forgiving Noor Jahan, but a few didn’t like her to forgive Murad and Noor Jahan also. Regardless of mixed feelings, fans just couldn’t stop appreciating Saba Hamid’s performance. Some feel that the ending was a bit rushed, for example, Noor Jahan should have asked for forgiveness from Sumbul after all the errors she committed in the past.
