So much is to be learned in makeup. Major makeup hacks that could instantly take your beauty routine to a different level, from morning till evening, are here. Want to master these essential techniques? Follow these steps:

1. Setting your eyeliner right

Yep, sometimes eyeliner can be just a bit of a pain—but after it’s set in, that really makes all the difference. Looking to lock in your eyeliner all day? Slap some primer on those lids before you even start. Once you’ve lined out your eyes, place a little bit of matching eyeshadow on top to lock it in. Just dip a small brush into the eyeshadow and dot it on top of your liner. Not only does this intensify the color, but it stops smudging and fading.

2. Rock 80s Blush

Yes, the blush trend of the 80s is back, and it’s so much easier to pull off than what probably comes to your mind. Sweep your blush high on your cheekbones and blend upwards towards your temples for a more retro look that has a young feeling to it. So, it adds radiant color to your face, defines your cheekbones, and gives them height. Use bright pinks or corals for that ultra 80s vibe.

3. Apply Foundation Before Concealer

The game-changing thing for a flawless complexion is the application of foundation before concealer. First of all, prime your face nicely, then apply your usual foundation, and then use creamy concealer to touch up the blemishes or dark circles; make sure it merges with your foundation completely to give you better coverage and makes it look natural.

4. Make Lipstick Stay On Longer

For long-lasting lipstick, scrub lips with a lip scrub to exfoliate the lips first. Apply an extremely thin layer of foundation or concealer over the lips as a base. Using a lip liner, define edges and fill in the lips. Apply your lipstick. Press your lips unto a tissue and blot off the extra. Reapply a second layer to lock it in for more staying power.

5. Powder Your Lashes

One real hack for long-lasting mascara is to powder your lashes. Lightly dust a little of some translucent setting powder onto your lashes before coating with mascara. This will create some kind of grip to which it really helps the mascara last longer. Follow up with your usual mascara, and you will get fuller, voluminous lashes that hold up even longer during the day.

7. Create a Perfect Cupid’s Bow:

A defined cupid’s bow brings grace to your lips. Do this by outlining the shape of your lips with a lip liner, paying attention to the curve in the arch of your upper lip. After that, place a small dot in the middle of your cupid’s bow with some highlighter or concealer to accentuate the shape. This little action makes your lips look full and shaped.

8. Easy Application of Eyelash Glue

Application of eyelash glue can get messy, but there is a trick. Do not just apply the glue directly from the tube; take a thin brush or a toothpick and put a small amount along the lash band. Let it sit for about 30 seconds for the glue to become tacky before applying the lashes. Not only will this let the lashes adhere better, but it makes the application so much smoother.

9. Face Lifting Concealer

Concealer doesn’t just work to hide blemishes, but you can even use it to relax or raise your face. Create a triangular base under the eyes and then blend upwards towards the temples. Not only will it work on concealing dark circles, but it will also provide raised cheek bones and a youthful look.
